Double Deuce

Double Deuce is a shooting event created for rifles chambered in .22lr that hosts several fun challenges for the shooters. With multiple sized targets
located at 200 and 300 meters, Double Deuce definitely has the ability to test your shooting skills.
Now for the FUN part!
We’ve added a cool way to boost your scores dramatically with the DOUBLER plates. Each rack has a DOUBLER plate that, when hit, doubles that
racks score when the shooter hits it. There is a DOUBLER plate on both the 200 and 300 meter racks to double that racks score once per string.
TARGETS:
4”, 6” and 8” plates at 200 meters with a 2” ‘DOUBLER’
6”, 8” and 10” plates at 300 meters with a 4” ‘DOUBLER’
SCORING:
– 8” plate at 200 meters = 1 pt
– 6” plate at 200 meters = 2 pt
– 4” plate at 200 meters = 3 pt
– 2” Doubler at 200 meters = score x2
Highest possible score: 3 pt x 9 + Doubler = 54
– 10” plate at 300 meters = 4 pt
– 8” plate at 300 meters = 5 pt
– 6” plate at 300 meters = 6 pt
– 4” Doubler at 300 meters = score x2
Highest possible score: 6 pt x 9 + Doubler = 108
RULES:
DOUBLE DEUCE consists of 5 ten shot strings. Each string has a 2-minute time limit.
The participants may shoot at any plate, at either distance, during each string, but they must tell their Scorer/Coach/Spotter which plate they are
shooting at before taking the shot. If the score sheet does not indicate what plate was being shot at, the shooter will not receive points for hitting the
plate. The DOUBLER plate doubles the score for that rack, up to the point its hit. The DOUBLER plates may only be used once per rack, per string. Any
plates hit after hitting the DOUBLER will be scored at the normal plate value.
